Godrej Consumer Products jumped 7.03% to Rs 400.95 on recent reports the company may raise prices in the premium categories soon. The stock was the biggest gainer in BSE's 'A' group.
BEML spurted 6.87% to Rs 1134.30 on reports the company has signed a memorandum of agreement with an aerospace product design company, CADES Digitech to work on 'design to build,' 'build to print' programmes of global aerospace majors. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers gained 5.30% to Rs 86.35 and was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals rose 5.13% to Rs 73.80 and was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. Fertiliser stocks rose on optimism the near-normal monsoon this season will boost fertilizer sales.
